Home Monitoring for COPD patients
Model A

This small and compact "all-in-one" unit monitors all the following:-
- Heart Rate
- 1 Lead ECG (Heart Rhythm)
- Blood pressure
- Respiratory Rate
- Oxygen saturation (SpO2)
- Body temperature
Model B
This is a similar unit with more limited monitoring functions but with a greater degree of automation, which may be of greater use to patients who require more intense monitoring
The unit monitors;
- Blood pressure
- Respiratory rate
- Oxygen saturation
How the units work
The WristClinic is worn like a large watch. The patient pushes a button and the unit takes various readings. A transmitter ('gateway') is attached to the patient's telephone. The readings are then transmitted automatically through the transmitter ('gateway') to our secure database at our (24/7) cardiac monitoring centre. The all-in-one unit can be set to transmit at pre-set intervals, as required.
The transmissions can also be made through a USB stick ('Minigate') attached to the patient's computer, where this is appropriate.
